Nexus 21 TV lifts are not like trendy new cell phones, with advertised features that you have to buy separately. Right out of the box, the lift system is complete and ready to use. However, for those specialized needs, we do offer a variety of cool extras that can make your Nexus 21 TV lift even more convenient to use.
NEW! - TV Swivel
Nexus 21 has designed a simple and compact swivel mechanism. It installs at the top of the lift column in a matter of minutes and allows you to manually rotate your flat panel 180 degrees in either direction. Simply raise your TV out of the cabinet, turn it in the direction you want and it’s ready to go. The Nexus 21 Swivel has been designed to be easily installed on the L-27 TV Lift System and L-39 TV Lift System. Now you can enjoy your flat-screen TV from anywhere in the room!
[NOTE: For your safety, the swivel has a cutoff so that the lift mechanism automatically disables itself when the TV is swiveled. The lift will not run unless the TV is in the proper position to lower into the cabinet.]
Large TV Mount
A Standard TV Mount is included with the L-27 Lift System and fits most TVs up to 37” as well as some larger sets. Before ordering, measure the mounting-hole pattern on the back of your flat screen TV. If the holes are less than 23” apart in width or 13” in height, you can use the standard mount. If your TV is larger than 37", you will want to order the Large TV Mount. The large mount fits TV's with mounting hole patterns from 24" to 31" wide and from 14" to 19" in height.
Hinged-Top Guides
You will need Hinged-top Guides if your lift cabinet has a top that hinges at the back of the cabinet. The guides fit on top of the lift column behind the TV. They provide for smooth movement of the hinged top and also protect the TV and cabinet from abrasion caused by movement of the TV.
EURO Pack
If you are installing your Nexus 21 Lift System in a country using 220V current and the European style 2-prong plug, you will need to upgrade the controller and power cord with the EURO Pack.
UK Pack
If you are installing your Nexus 21 Lift System in a country using 220V current and the United Kingdom style 3-prong plug, you will need to upgrade the controller and power cord with the UK Pack.
Extra Remotes
We know remotes are like socks - sometimes you just don't know where they disappeared to! Every Nexus 21 Lift System comes standard with one remote control, but we also offer remotes separately in case you would like an additional one or want to replace the one that was eaten by your sofa.
IR Extension
The IR Extension has a tiny infrared receiver on one end that can be mounted inconspicuously through the front of your cabinet. It uses a mini-jack that plugs into the standard IR Receiver inside the cabinet.
The Current Sensor
The "Current Sensor" is what we have affectionately called the "octopus." It works in conjunction with the remote control so that when you start the lift "Up," the TV turns on automatically. When you start the lift "Down," the TV turns off automatically. This is a safety device as well as a convenience: It eliminates the possibility of the TV being on while in the cabinet.
